Woohoo! I'm very proud of this photo. The Galah is from the Cockatoo family, usually hangs out in loud, noisy flocks and is common throughout the mainland. This is one of two I was watching yesterday. I managed to snap off a few shots, panning around as it flew towards me, then past me. Two shots came out great, so watch this spot for a rainy day, when I post the other one.

Very cool shot. The sharpness in the galah's head is great. Well done.
Great capture with the head in focus and the motion blur of the wings. Composition is very nice and red color is quite captivating.
