Oh eek!! That's just terrifying!! I'm almost phobic of those guys. I do love how you've focused on just him though. It really highlights all of his idiosyncrasies.
REALLY nice pictures out there! Congratulations, i think you should really think (if you actually aren't) to be a professional documental photographer, much of your photos could be over NatGeos standards...
I went through your whole blog, as i am a colombian biology student with aims towards entomology and with an intimate desire of becoming a pro nature photographer.
I'm hoping to get a "real" camera this month, i was thinking about Nikon D80, and now i've got no doubts about it!, but i'm also convinced i should also get 70-300mm and 90mm macro lenses. Or maybe if you would recommend anything different i'd really hope to listen from you. It'd be great if you passed through my blog, http://photo-blah.blogspot.com and just watch and say hi!, it's in spanish, but fortunately photos are photos.
Just wanted to congratulate you again, and i hope we'll be in touch!
I'm a 30 something, amateur photographer living in Albury, Australia, though I commenced this blog while living in Brisbane. I've dabbled with photography since my school days, but have recently reignited my enthusiasum for it since upgrading to a ditital SLR.
I started this blog in July 2006, after viewing and being inspired by many other photoblogs. I hope my blog will contribute to that inspiration for others.
For those who just can't help but want to know what equipment everyone else is using, here is what's in my bag of tricks: Nikon d70, 18-70mm lens, 75-300mm lens,90mm macro lens, and sb600 flash.
Please feel free to leave me comments on my photos - your thoughts help me to improve my photography.
