Sorry I've been away for so long, but my wife and I are expecting our first child any day now. We have been spending all our time catching up with friends and family, getting ready for baby, making the most of our last months of "coupledom" and trying to stockpile sleep! As a result, I haven't been bush for a while.
I hope to get back to nature with the camera when I can take the little one for walks with me.
Till then, thanks for dropping by.

Hi there,
hope all is going well, continues to go well and the birth goes without a hitch. It really is life changing having a new baby - as I have very recently found out myself.
And as for stockpiling sleep - it doesn't work! I know that's what everyone advises, but if you get more sleep now your body will be used to it and you could find it more difficult to cope with sleepless nights. Best thing to do is to try to get a bit less sleep than normal until things get settled down in a few months.
Anyway - looking forward to more photos from you.
congratulations man! I wondered where the Australian insects went.
I wish you the best. I have a feeling macro photography will soon be replaced by baby photography.
Hello there. Congratulations! Very pretty picture.
