The Pale-headed Rosella is only found in Queensland (ok, maybe northern NSW as well), and is part of the parrot family. This guy is a white-cheeked form, the blue-cheeked form can be found in far north Queensland.

I love your bird shots - your dad must be proud!! But particularly like this one, the pose of the bird and colours/ setting. Love sis (again, the older one!)
